Warriors Surges again in 3rd Quarter with 3-0 Series lead

PORTLAND – After the 18 points gap on early quarters, Golden State Warriors surged again in the third quarter VS Trail Blazers that led to 110-99 win. May 18.
As usual, Stephen Curry led the warriors with 36 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assist . Draymond Green and Klay Thompson backed Curry with 20 and 19 points respectively. Astoundingly, Green helped the Warriors with 13 rebounds, 12 Assist while Thompson supported the team with 5 Rebounds and 5 Assists.
On the otherhand, Trail Blazers dominated the first and second quarter as CJ McCollum led the team with 23 points, 3 Rebs, 5 Assists. Damian Lillard backed McCollum added 19 points 6 Rebs and Assists gained support from Meyers Leonard and Evan Turner with 16 points and 12 points respectively.
Surprisingly, Warriors still survived the Western Conference Finals without Kevin Durant. Portland Seth Curry trash-talked Durant saying that Warriors are harder to defend without the him.
“They move around faster when he’s not out there. They’re definitely not a better team, but they’re harder to guard.
\”Obviously, they play a different style of basketball when Steph and Klay [Thompson] are the focal points offensively, and we haven’t played that team in a while.\” Seth Curry told reporters.
However, Durant denied Curry\’s remarks in his instagram post.
Meanwhile, Game 4 will be held in Portland on May 20. If Warriors still win, they will be in finals unanimously.

Former UFC fighter Francis Ngannou accused AJ camp of ‘trickery’ when he suffered devastating knockdowns in the first and second round last March 8, 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The MMA fighter and former UFC heavyweight champion said that AJ camp sabotaged him by letting him go early in the arena.

“We both fought at 3am. What I think, something that’s happened is that they get me to the arena very early. Like my pickup time was 10.30pm to go to the arena. And then when we get to the arena, they tell us that we are scheduled around 1.45am. right?” Ngannou blurted.

He believed that he came exhausted, which resulted in his humiliating defeat.

Texas Department urges Mike Tyson to pass EEG, EKG tests

The 57-year old legend Mike Tyson (50 wins – 6 loss) vs 27-year old YouTuber Jake Paul (9 wins – 1 loss) must undergo major tests before the fight to materialize at AT&T Stadium in Texas Arlington on July 20, 2024.

The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations (TDLR) urged Tyson to undergo or pass a brain test Electroencephalography (EEG) and Electrocardiogram (EKG) for the heart.

“A person aged 36 or older applying for a contestant’s license must submit a report of favourable physical testing conducted within the previous 12 months, including but not limited to an EEG and an EKG.” TDLR elaborated.

Meanwhile, the American youtuber explained that he picked Tyson because he wants to change the history of boxing. He already fought Floyd Mayweather Jr but he lost.

Victor Wembanyama hits Tim Duncan, O’ Neal records

Victor Wembanyama broke a record of 100 blocks as a rookie last January 8, 2024 in Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, Cleveland, Ohio vs Cavaliers.

Spurs center and power forward Wemby has played 31 games so far and his 4th block on the said game made him the 6th player in NBA history to reach that mark in their first 35 games.

The NBA records show that Wemby (2023-24) hit Tim Duncan at the 6th place as a rookie with the most games played. Shaq had 28 and Alonzo Mourning 18 in 1992-93.

The other NBA players who also reached that 100 blocks record as rookie are Shawn Bradley (1993-94), Alonzo Mourning (1992-93), Shaquille O’Neal (1992-93) Manute Bol (1985-86), Terry Tyler (1978-79).
