Canelo Alvarez invites Jake Paul to spar.

Saul “Canelo” Alvarez was not a fan of the Paul brothers, Jake and Logan, in invading boxing to fight other people and retired boxers.
For the pound-for-pound king, what they are doing is just for money as they know nothing what boxing really is.
It can be remembered that Logan, the older Paul, fought fellow YouTube personality KSI before and now he was able to ink a match with Floyd Mayweather Jr., next year. Meanwhile, Jake recently fought Nate Robinson, the former NBA player.
He crushed the debuting player, but Alvarez was not impressed.
“Ya know, it’s all about the money. I don’t think we would agree that people that are basketball players, that are YouTubers get licenses. Ya know, I don\’t criticize [the Paul brothers]. This is a risky sport, and if you go up there, it\’s, very risky Alvarez said.
Seeing how the box is far from being elite, they are entertainers due to their status as YouTubers.
Compared to what professional boxers have been through, it could have been an insult, to Canelo opened his side by inviting Jake Paul for sparring to teach him what boxing really is.
\”I have other stuff going on, and I would invite him for a sparring session so that he truly knows what it’s all about,” the Mexican said.
Now he has lesser stuff to do after he snatched Callum Smith’s middleweight belt in a unanimous victory.

Francis Ngannou cries ‘deception’ vs Anthony Joshua camp

Former UFC fighter Francis Ngannou accused AJ camp of ‘trickery’ when he suffered devastating knockdowns in the first and second round last March 8, 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The MMA fighter and former UFC heavyweight champion said that AJ camp sabotaged him by letting him go early in the arena.

“We both fought at 3am. What I think, something that’s happened is that they get me to the arena very early. Like my pickup time was 10.30pm to go to the arena. And then when we get to the arena, they tell us that we are scheduled around 1.45am. right?” Ngannou blurted.

He believed that he came exhausted, which resulted in his humiliating defeat.

Texas Department urges Mike Tyson to pass EEG, EKG tests

The 57-year old legend Mike Tyson (50 wins – 6 loss) vs 27-year old YouTuber Jake Paul (9 wins – 1 loss) must undergo major tests before the fight to materialize at AT&T Stadium in Texas Arlington on July 20, 2024.

The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations (TDLR) urged Tyson to undergo or pass a brain test Electroencephalography (EEG) and Electrocardiogram (EKG) for the heart.

“A person aged 36 or older applying for a contestant’s license must submit a report of favourable physical testing conducted within the previous 12 months, including but not limited to an EEG and an EKG.” TDLR elaborated.

Meanwhile, the American youtuber explained that he picked Tyson because he wants to change the history of boxing. He already fought Floyd Mayweather Jr but he lost.

Victor Wembanyama hits Tim Duncan, O’ Neal records

Victor Wembanyama broke a record of 100 blocks as a rookie last January 8, 2024 in Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, Cleveland, Ohio vs Cavaliers.

Spurs center and power forward Wemby has played 31 games so far and his 4th block on the said game made him the 6th player in NBA history to reach that mark in their first 35 games.

The NBA records show that Wemby (2023-24) hit Tim Duncan at the 6th place as a rookie with the most games played. Shaq had 28 and Alonzo Mourning 18 in 1992-93.

The other NBA players who also reached that 100 blocks record as rookie are Shawn Bradley (1993-94), Alonzo Mourning (1992-93), Shaquille O’Neal (1992-93) Manute Bol (1985-86), Terry Tyler (1978-79).
