In a short response, fighting senator Manny Pacquiao made it clear that if he were given a chance the pick, he would fight UFC superstar Conor McGregor first on his 2021 boxing return.
“I want to experience to fight an MMA fighter,” said Pacquiao in an interview with ABS-CBN.
A few weeks back, Pacquiao confirmed that he would fight McGregor in 2021, but their meeting could be push late next year after McGregor agreed to a UFC fight in the first quarter. Meanwhile, Pacquiao has to defend his WBA super welterweight belt as well, or the boxing body will strip the belt to the only eight-division world champion.
Additionally, Pacquiao revealed ongoing talks in a movie about his life to be released by Netflix, a famous movie/series streaming platform.
Characters to portray one of the best tandems in boxing history are Rami Malek as Pacquiao and Leonardo DiCaprio as Freddie Roach.
He added that this is not the only movie that reached out to him. According to Pacquiao, a total of three movies are interested in making a movie revolving about his life and boxing career.
However, the progress paused due to the pandemic, and Pacquiao is busy doing his job as a Philippine senator.
