August boxing to stage new rivalry featuring Pinoys vs Cubans

Both fighting under the MP Promotions, Manny Pacquiao and John Riel Casimero, both
Filipinos, are now tasked to fight Cuban boxers named Yordenis Ugas and Guillermo
Rigondeaux.
The Pinoy-Cuban showdown will begin with Casimero-Rigondeaux on August 14 th for
the World Boxing Organization bantamweight belt. Casimero who is under Pacquiao will
defend his belt against the 40-year Rigondeaux as his initial fight with fellow Filipno
Nonito Donaire was called off.
Meanwhile, Pacquiao will face his last-minute replacement opponent on August 21 st for
the WBA welterweight belt. Pacquiao now has the chance to reclaim the belt the WBA
stripped him off last year due to his long inactivity in the ring.
It was a quick turnaround for Pacquiao as his long-anticipated fight against top
welterweight Errol Spence was force to withdraw due to an eye injury.
Nonetheless, both Filipinos are continuing their training with applied changes to adapt to
their opponent.

Dwight Howard plans to join WWE

MMA to boxing is not the only sport you can cross, so is basketball to pro wrestling.

NBA veteran ang NBA champion Dwight Howard wants to be in the WWE if he’s not on an NBA team this coming season. 

He is currently a free agent and no signs yet of teams interested to sign him in.

Howard, an 8x NBA All-Star, 3x NBA Defensive Player of the Year and 5x All-NBA First Team, is currently 36 and has seen his career depleted throughout the years.

He made it clear though that his first priority is to still play in the league and will consider the WWE if left out in the 2022-23 season. 

Howard participated in the WWE tryout and could be a great boost to the show due to his physique and entertaining attitude.
