Who is Yordenis Ugas and what to expect in his fight against Manny Pacquiao?

Published

Everyone was greeted in the morning with the news of Errol Spence backing out from
his mega fight with Manny Pacquiao, just more than a week before the actual fight.
The unfortunate turn of event was caused by a tear retina on his left eye the doctor
found out that requires immediate surgery. With that being said the unified welterweight
champion pulled out from the fight.
However, the Premier Boxing Champions was able to patch the absence of Spence by
putting Yordenis Ugas as a replacement.
Many may have been wondering ‘who is this guy?’ His name may not be that popular
but he currently holds the WBA super welterweight belt that Pacquiao had before it was
stripped off due to his inaction in the ring.
Ugas is from Cuba who has a professional record of 26 wins, 12 coming by way of
knockout and four defeats. He won the vacated WBA belt on September 2020 after
defeating Abel Ramos via split decision.
There is nothing to hype for Ugas but Pacquiao still needs to be careful about his
opponent as he quickly change his sparring partners from southpaw to orthodox. The
fight will push through on August 21 st .

NBA veteran ang NBA champion Dwight Howard wants to be in the WWE if he’s not on an NBA team this coming season.

He is currently a free agent and no signs yet of teams interested to sign him in.

Howard, an 8x NBA All-Star, 3x NBA Defensive Player of the Year and 5x All-NBA First Team, is currently 36 and has seen his career depleted throughout the years.

He made it clear though that his first priority is to still play in the league and will consider the WWE if left out in the 2022-23 season.
