Summarizing the 2022 NBA All-Star Weekend in Cleveland

From the Rising Stars game to the Saturday night events and the All-Star Game, is this
year’s All-Star Weekend lived up to the expectations?
First up, the Rising Stars was not as hyped compared to before much more was the
Saturday night events. Only the three-point shootout competition did not disappoint
wherein Karl-Anthony Towns was hailed as the champion. The Slam Dunk competition
was more like a missed dunk competitions and they received a lot of negative
feedbacks. Some were even saying that the shootout should be the main event of the
NBA All-Star Saturday.
Luckily, the All-Star Game rocked Cleveland and the world. Even before tipoff fans all
around the globe were thrilled as the Association honoured the 75 greatest players of
all-time. Michael Jordan had the loudest chant and ovation as he remains the G.O.A.T.
Going into the game, the two gentlemen both born in Akron, Ohio took over. Steph
Curry went out of the world with his 50-piece performance including 16 three-point
made. And the best part, the hometown kid and hero LeBron James was the one who
sank the game-winning jumper. He did it in an iconic fashion, a fadeaway while Michael
Jordan was watching.
The Sunday game, indeed saved this year’s All-Star weekend.
