Singson: Pacquiao can KO Thurman

One of Manny \”Pacman\” Pacquiao\’s great friends, Narvacan, Ilocos Sur Mayor Luis \”Chavit\” Singson revealed a night before the highly-awaited Pacquiao – Thurman match that the Pambansang Kamao is stronger enough to knock out Keith \”One Time\” Thurman.

In an exclusive interview with the 78-year-old mayor, he threw some revelations about the current conditions of the eight-division world champion. He shared that it could be seen that Pacquiao is stronger and faster just like when he was starting to build a name in the boxing industry enough to take down the undefeated Thurman.
The former governor, along with Pacquiao\’s other comrades, is also confident that Pacquiao can win the fight specially that he already surpassed heavily-built boxers like Cotto.
\”Palagay ko, knock out \’to,\” he confidently said.
Though Pacquiao\’s strength and aggressiveness are there but according to Singson, Pacquaio shows more eagerness and fire to defeat his opponent, Thurman.

When asked about his opinions over Thurman\’s shady words against the Pambansang Kamao, Singson assured that Pacquiao was not intimidated and affected with it. He also thought that this was just Thurman\’s way of covering the latter\’s nervousness to fight and face inside the ring against Pacquiao.
He also said that Pacquiao, being well-experienced, would do a great job inside the ring, making them worry less.
Moreover, Pacquiao was more prepared to fight unlike his past fights and matches, shared Singson, which he also described Pacquaio as \”fit.\”
He also encouraged every Filipinos to continue to support the 40-year-old Pambansang Kamao on his fight against Thurman which would make him inspired more to take down his opponent. He also described him to be one of the people who brings glory to the Philippines.

He also invited his fellow Narvacenos, along with other Filipinos, to watch the Pacquiao – Thurman bout tomorrow (Manila time) live at MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Despite the 31 years old gap, heavyweight legend Mike Tyson (50 – 6) officially signed a contract for 8 rounds professional fight against the 27-year old youtuber Jake Paul (9 – 1).

Nakisa Bidarian, Most Valuable Promotions founder, announced last April 29, 2024 that the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation approved the fight with two minutes per round in 14-ounce gloves. This is not an exhibition fight

“I get up in the morning and do the real work. Then I go to the gym; I go to strength and conditioning. Then I start all over again,”Tyson said in his preparation for the upcoming fight vs Jake on July 20, 2024 in AT&T Stadium in Arlington Texas.

Boxing's pound-for-pound king Canelo Alvarez to make boxing return in September

The General Entertainment Authority (GEA) believes Canelo Alvarez (61-2-2) vs Terrence Crawford (40 – 0) will fix the alleged “broken boxing sport.”

The GEA is a department in the Saudi Arabia government that regulates and promotes their entertainment industry.

There are reports that the super mega-fight will happen in December 2024 or January 2025 in Saudi Arabia.

It can be recalled that Floyd Mayweather’s match with Manny Pacquiao remains the biggest-selling boxing pay-per-view in the history of the sport. However they are already retired. as of this writing

Usyk relentlessly ravages Tyson Fury in round 9

The Ukrainian heavyweight champ Oleksandr Usyk dethroned the “Gypsy King” as he ravaged Tyson Fury in round 9 at Kingdom Arena in  Riyadh, Saudi Arabia last May 18,2024.

The undisputed heavyweight Usyk maintained his undefeated record of 22-0. Fury on the other hand tasted his first defeat of 34-1-1.

The action-packed fight between Fury and Usyk resulted in a split decision. Judge Manuel Oliver Palermo gave 115–112 for Usyk, judge Craig Metcalfe tallied 114–113 for Fury, while judge Mike Fitzgerald scored it with 114–113 for Usyk.
