Raptors open to boycott a game after Jacob Blake incident

The Toronto Raptors are currently ‘exploring anything and everything’ for their possible game 1 boycott against the Boston Celtics to protest against racial injustices that ignited once again after the death of Jacob Blake.

Blake was shot multiple times by the police in Wisconsin. This triggered the protest as he, another black person, was targeted by the police.

The NBA Bubble started with players wearing social justices’ names at the back of their jersey in support to black lives matter.

With the incident, more players and coaches expressed frustration that led to the possible boycott of the Raptors.

Fred VanVleet and Norman Powell were among the Raptors who voiced out their frustration and stated that the Black Lives Matter naming is not enough.

\”What are we willing to give up?” Said VanVleet on his long address.

Additionally Los Angeles Clippers head coach Doc Rivers also delivered a powerful message that despite they love the country, “this country does not love us.”

Dwight Howard plans to join WWE

MMA to boxing is not the only sport you can cross, so is basketball to pro wrestling.

NBA veteran ang NBA champion Dwight Howard wants to be in the WWE if he’s not on an NBA team this coming season. 

He is currently a free agent and no signs yet of teams interested to sign him in.

Howard, an 8x NBA All-Star, 3x NBA Defensive Player of the Year and 5x All-NBA First Team, is currently 36 and has seen his career depleted throughout the years.

He made it clear though that his first priority is to still play in the league and will consider the WWE if left out in the 2022-23 season. 

Howard participated in the WWE tryout and could be a great boost to the show due to his physique and entertaining attitude.
