Binati ni Tyson “Gypsy King” Fury maging ang kanyang mga Pinoy fans matapos na masungkit ang korona na hawak ng kampeon na si Deontay “Bronze Boomer” Wilder na ginanap sa MGM Grand Arena sa Las Vegas.

Ang pagbati ni Fury ay ipinaabot sa panayam ng inyong lingkod kasunod nang pagbubunyi ng Briton at mga fans upang gulatin ang mundo ng boksing.

“Hello, to my Filipino fans,” bulalas ni Fury habang palabas ng MGM Grand na pinagkaguluhan ng mga fans.

Una rito sa naturang rematch nagtapos ito sa seventh-round stoppage para kunin ni Fury ang WBC heavyweight title ni Wilder.

Dinomina ni Fury ang laban kung saan dalawang beses niyang pinatumba si Wilder sa third at fifth round bago tuluyang ibato ng kampo ni Wilder ang towel sa ika-pitong round.

Maagang pumutok ang labi ni Wilder mula sa mga jabs ni Fury bago tuluyang mayanig sa third round matapos ang isang right hook na nagpadugo sa tenga ni Wilder.

Bagama’t nakabangon si Wilder ay hindi naging maayos ang tayo nito.

Makailang beses pa itong nadulas hanggang sa matumba ulit sa fifth round gamit ang isang body punch ni Fury.

Nananatili namang walang talo si Fury na may 30 panalo, 21 knockouts at isang draw samantalang ibinigay nito ang kauna-unahang talo ni Deontay na ngayon ay may 42 panalo, 41 knockouts, isang talo at isang draw.

Natuldukan na rin ang pagkapanalo ni Fury sa kontrobersyal nilang draw noong 2018.

Former UFC fighter Francis Ngannou accused AJ camp of ‘trickery’ when he suffered devastating knockdowns in the first and second round last March 8, 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The MMA fighter and former UFC heavyweight champion said that AJ camp sabotaged him by letting him go early in the arena.

“We both fought at 3am. What I think, something that’s happened is that they get me to the arena very early. Like my pickup time was 10.30pm to go to the arena. And then when we get to the arena, they tell us that we are scheduled around 1.45am. right?” Ngannou blurted.

He believed that he came exhausted, which resulted in his humiliating defeat.

Texas Department urges Mike Tyson to pass EEG, EKG tests

The 57-year old legend Mike Tyson (50 wins – 6 loss) vs 27-year old YouTuber Jake Paul (9 wins – 1 loss) must undergo major tests before the fight to materialize at AT&T Stadium in Texas Arlington on July 20, 2024.

The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations (TDLR) urged Tyson to undergo or pass a brain test Electroencephalography (EEG) and Electrocardiogram (EKG) for the heart.

“A person aged 36 or older applying for a contestant’s license must submit a report of favourable physical testing conducted within the previous 12 months, including but not limited to an EEG and an EKG.” TDLR elaborated.

Meanwhile, the American youtuber explained that he picked Tyson because he wants to change the history of boxing. He already fought Floyd Mayweather Jr but he lost.

Victor Wembanyama broke a record of 100 blocks as a rookie last January 8, 2024 in Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, Cleveland, Ohio vs Cavaliers.

Spurs center and power forward Wemby has played 31 games so far and his 4th block on the said game made him the 6th player in NBA history to reach that mark in their first 35 games.

The NBA records show that Wemby (2023-24) hit Tim Duncan at the 6th place as a rookie with the most games played. Shaq had 28 and Alonzo Mourning 18 in 1992-93.

The other NBA players who also reached that 100 blocks record as rookie are Shawn Bradley (1993-94), Alonzo Mourning (1992-93), Shaquille O’Neal (1992-93) Manute Bol (1985-86), Terry Tyler (1978-79).
