As a combat sport, boxing has been a great entertainment for decades before of its action.
However, the sport is not only about offense and how strong you punch. Several boxing superstars had already displayed jaw-dropping defences that we need to appreciate.
The movement, the anticipation and the quickness to dodge multiple attacks can not only be great for safety but it can also take its toll to the offensive fighter.
It can disrupt the rhythm of the opponent, hence, will give the better defender the upper hand.
Canelo Alvarez, Tyson Fury and Floyd Mayweather are some of the superstars who displayed amazing dodges on their match.

The current pound-for-pound king is known for his great head movement that allows him to dodge his opponent attacks.
What’s very impressive inCanelo’s head movement is that he can do it anywhere from the ring.
His defense and offense are perfectly even that’s why he is so tough to beat.
His left to right, swing up and down movements often make the opponent to miss their punches. Pretty helpful, right?

The current WBC heavyweight champion once displayed his amazing defense imitating Muhammad Ali’s famous rope-a-dope.

The amount of training and concentration are very evident on Mayweather’s defense. He uses his IQ all the time that’s why he is one of the best to ever lace up the gloves.

Two-weight world Mexican champ Luis Nery (35 wins – 1 loss – 0) mocked the undefeated “Japanese monster” Naoya Inoue (26 wins – 0 loss) as ordinary and overrated hyping their fight at Tokyo Dome in Japan May 6, 2024.

31-year old Inoue will defend his undisputed super bantamweight title against Nery.

29-year-old challenger Nery has the WBC and Ring magazine bantamweight titles plus the WBC super bantamweight title from 2020 to May 2021.

On the other hand, the undisputed Inoue who holds WBA and IBF titles plus WBC and WBO belts has never lost except a decision with Filipino ‘flash’ Nonito Donaire last 2011.

Former UFC fighter Francis Ngannou accused AJ camp of ‘trickery’ when he suffered devastating knockdowns in the first and second round last March 8, 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The MMA fighter and former UFC heavyweight champion said that AJ camp sabotaged him by letting him go early in the arena.

“We both fought at 3am. What I think, something that’s happened is that they get me to the arena very early. Like my pickup time was 10.30pm to go to the arena. And then when we get to the arena, they tell us that we are scheduled around 1.45am. right?” Ngannou blurted.

He believed that he came exhausted, which resulted in his humiliating defeat.

Texas Department urges Mike Tyson to pass EEG, EKG tests

The 57-year old legend Mike Tyson (50 wins – 6 loss) vs 27-year old YouTuber Jake Paul (9 wins – 1 loss) must undergo major tests before the fight to materialize at AT&T Stadium in Texas Arlington on July 20, 2024.

The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations (TDLR) urged Tyson to undergo or pass a brain test Electroencephalography (EEG) and Electrocardiogram (EKG) for the heart.

“A person aged 36 or older applying for a contestant’s license must submit a report of favourable physical testing conducted within the previous 12 months, including but not limited to an EEG and an EKG.” TDLR elaborated.

Meanwhile, the American youtuber explained that he picked Tyson because he wants to change the history of boxing. He already fought Floyd Mayweather Jr but he lost.
