Nate Robinson eyeing to be one of the greatest athletes ahead of boxing debut

Former NBA player Nate Robinson is ready to conquer another achievement to his already impressive career as he takes on YouTuber Jake Paul on November 28.

The surprising move of Robinson was fuelled by his feud against Paul. They will become the undercard of the anticipated exhibition match between Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr.

“I’m just trying to accomplish more goals people said I can’t do,” said the three-time NBA dunk champion Robinson.

“I’ve checked every box and this is another obstacle I’m trying to conquer and to show I’m one of the greatest athletes to ever walk this earth, and I want to prove that. “

Although his height was an obvious disadvantage during his NBA career, Robinson defied the odds as he finished an 11-year NBA career. Robinson was also one of the electrifying player to ever step on the floor. Robinson, at 5’9”, displayed jaw-dropping vertical and athleticism that made him loved by the fans.

Shifting to boxing at the age of 36, Robinson will still be at the disadvantage against the taller Paul but unlike in the NBA their height difference is not huge. The heart will be the determining factor.

“I want to show the world I can do every sport—baseball, soccer, swimming, volleyball. It can be anything. I want to show the world that with real time and commitment, I can do anything,” he added.

Francis Ngannou cries ‘deception’ vs Anthony Joshua camp

Former UFC fighter Francis Ngannou accused AJ camp of ‘trickery’ when he suffered devastating knockdowns in the first and second round last March 8, 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The MMA fighter and former UFC heavyweight champion said that AJ camp sabotaged him by letting him go early in the arena.

“We both fought at 3am. What I think, something that’s happened is that they get me to the arena very early. Like my pickup time was 10.30pm to go to the arena. And then when we get to the arena, they tell us that we are scheduled around 1.45am. right?” Ngannou blurted.

He believed that he came exhausted, which resulted in his humiliating defeat.

Texas Department urges Mike Tyson to pass EEG, EKG tests

The 57-year old legend Mike Tyson (50 wins – 6 loss) vs 27-year old YouTuber Jake Paul (9 wins – 1 loss) must undergo major tests before the fight to materialize at AT&T Stadium in Texas Arlington on July 20, 2024.

The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations (TDLR) urged Tyson to undergo or pass a brain test Electroencephalography (EEG) and Electrocardiogram (EKG) for the heart.

“A person aged 36 or older applying for a contestant’s license must submit a report of favourable physical testing conducted within the previous 12 months, including but not limited to an EEG and an EKG.” TDLR elaborated.

Meanwhile, the American youtuber explained that he picked Tyson because he wants to change the history of boxing. He already fought Floyd Mayweather Jr but he lost.

Victor Wembanyama broke a record of 100 blocks as a rookie last January 8, 2024 in Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, Cleveland, Ohio vs Cavaliers.

Spurs center and power forward Wemby has played 31 games so far and his 4th block on the said game made him the 6th player in NBA history to reach that mark in their first 35 games.

The NBA records show that Wemby (2023-24) hit Tim Duncan at the 6th place as a rookie with the most games played. Shaq had 28 and Alonzo Mourning 18 in 1992-93.

The other NBA players who also reached that 100 blocks record as rookie are Shawn Bradley (1993-94), Alonzo Mourning (1992-93), Shaquille O’Neal (1992-93) Manute Bol (1985-86), Terry Tyler (1978-79).
