Conor McGregor wants Manny Pacquiao next

Making his comeback in an epic 40-second knockout victory over Donald Cerrone, Conor McGregor has expressed his interest in fighting in a boxing ring again for his long “2020 season.”
McGregor who was out for quite some time told that he is treating his comeback as a season and part of it is fighting Manny Pacquiao.
“It will be hard to leave the MMA game fully but I think a boxing world title is a great aspiration to have. What a feather in the cap it would be,” the Notorious McGregor said during their press conference for the UFC 246.
The Irishman was confident he can ink a deal with the Filipino champ while also hinting he wanted it to take place at the newly built 60,000-seater Allegiant Stadium that will open in August.
He added that he is also open about his rematch against Floyd Mayweather Jr whom he predicted could happen also this year.
However, if he will fight any of the two living legends in boxing cutting weight will be the major adjustment. McGregor is now at 170 pounds, 23 pounds heavier to the weight limit in Pacquiao’s current division as well as Mayweather.
Pacquiao is also making his return in the ring in April with possible opponents not named Conor McGregor.
Nonetheless, Sean Gibbons, the president of Manny Pacquiao (MP) Promotions said on an interview with the SunSports that the fight could still be put into reality.
“As per a fight with the Senator and Conor McGregor – Conor has mentioned it a few times and if there was interest from the fans the Senator would consider the fight for sure.”
The former simultaneous two-division champion is 0-1 on his professional boxing career.

31-year old Inoue will defend his undisputed super bantamweight title against Nery.

29-year-old challenger Nery has the WBC and Ring magazine bantamweight titles plus the WBC super bantamweight title from 2020 to May 2021.

On the other hand, the undisputed Inoue who holds WBA and IBF titles plus WBC and WBO belts has never lost except a decision with Filipino ‘flash’ Nonito Donaire last 2011.

Former UFC fighter Francis Ngannou accused AJ camp of ‘trickery’ when he suffered devastating knockdowns in the first and second round last March 8, 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The MMA fighter and former UFC heavyweight champion said that AJ camp sabotaged him by letting him go early in the arena.

“We both fought at 3am. What I think, something that’s happened is that they get me to the arena very early. Like my pickup time was 10.30pm to go to the arena. And then when we get to the arena, they tell us that we are scheduled around 1.45am. right?” Ngannou blurted.

He believed that he came exhausted, which resulted in his humiliating defeat.

Texas Department urges Mike Tyson to pass EEG, EKG tests

The 57-year old legend Mike Tyson (50 wins – 6 loss) vs 27-year old YouTuber Jake Paul (9 wins – 1 loss) must undergo major tests before the fight to materialize at AT&T Stadium in Texas Arlington on July 20, 2024.

The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations (TDLR) urged Tyson to undergo or pass a brain test Electroencephalography (EEG) and Electrocardiogram (EKG) for the heart.

“A person aged 36 or older applying for a contestant’s license must submit a report of favourable physical testing conducted within the previous 12 months, including but not limited to an EEG and an EKG.” TDLR elaborated.

Meanwhile, the American youtuber explained that he picked Tyson because he wants to change the history of boxing. He already fought Floyd Mayweather Jr but he lost.
