LAS VEGAS, Nevada — Keith Thurman was spotted in a Las Vegas casino just a few days until his fight with Filipino boxing legend Manny Pacquiao.

The 30-year-old Thurman, in a chance encounter early Tuesday (Manila time), was all relaxed and in a mood for some friendly gambling during a late-night trip to the roulette table.

Contrary to popular belief, the trash-talking Thurman was very approachable when he met with some Filipinos, including Philippine press, and even joined the Pinoys in some games.
This included John Singson, the grandson of former Governor and now Mayor Chavit Singson.

The American boxer\’s jovial escapade at the MGM Grand comes only a few days before one of the most anticipated fights of 2019 goes down on July 20 (July 21 Manila time) at the same venue.

Thurman will stake his WBA Superwelterweight World Championship belt in a unifying bout that will pit the undefeated American against the eight-division world champion Pacquaio.

Thurman, who played after more than an hour, was all smiles as he walked away with some $10,000 worth of chips.

Will his luck continue come fight night?

“We both fought at 3am. What I think, something that’s happened is that they get me to the arena very early. Like my pickup time was 10.30pm to go to the arena. And then when we get to the arena, they tell us that we are scheduled around 1.45am. right?” Ngannou blurted.

He believed that he came exhausted, which resulted in his humiliating defeat.
