Giannis, Luka, Embiid, Wemby overlooked as Durant hypes Tatum

As the Boston Celtics won vs Phoenix (127 – 112) last March  15, 2024, NBA superstar Kevin Durant hyped Tatum as the one who will control the league for the next 10 or 12 years.

Despite the outstanding performance of Joel Hans Embiid Philadelphia 76ers, Doncic  Luka Mavericks, Giannis Sina Ugo Antetokounmpo Milwaukee Bucks, Victor Wembanyama Spurs and others, Durant still saw Celtic power forward Jayson Christophe Tatum as the best.

Durant said after the Wednesday practice that Tatum is consistent all year and assumed him as the legit candidate.

“Putting up a high number of points. Stats matter when it comes to MVP. His team is winning games, most importantly, by a landslide. The record factors into it. He’s had MVP-caliber seasons the last few years, too. So, it’s just a matter of your narrative at this point.” Durant remarked.
