Not even a strong earthquake that rocked Southern California could faze Manny Pacquiao in his training for his upcoming fight against loudmouthed Keith Thurman Jr. on July 20 (July 21 Manila time).
Preparing doubly hard for his bout with the undefeated fighter, the Pacman’s intense training was no match for the 6.4 Magnitude tremor that hit roughly 150 miles away from his LA traning camp.

“I’m not alarmed, normal, it’s only written in the bible,” said in an interview with Balitang America.

Putting on his own fiery display at the Wildcard Gym, Pacquiao opened American Independence Day in time for Fourth of July celebrations, with a media workout, as usual, open to the public.
A little while later, 6.4 magnitude tremblor, with an epicenter near the city of Ridgecrest at 10:33 local time (18:33GMT).

“It’s Jesus, told us that the beginning of birth pains when hear rumor of wars, earthquakes in birth places, you know the summer is near it’s the beginning of birth pains,” he added.

Pacquiao, who showcased tremendous work ethic as he did not took a day off even on a holiday, continuing his training camp with mitts workout even without sparring partners who took time off to celebrate the holiday.
In front of hudreds of fans, the fighting Senator worked on his strength and conditioning only three weeks before his fight with the younger American Thurman.
Billed as one of the most important fight nights this year, Pacquiao-Thurman promises to be an explosive affair at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas
