Manny Pacquiao has conceded that Saturday night\’s WBA super-welterweight title
battle against champion Yordenis Ugas could be the last time he graces a boxing ring.
The 42-year-old battling Senator (62-7-2) hopes to recover the belt he was deprived of
for inertia in January subsequent to tolerating a late-notice battle against 35-year-old
Cuban Ugas (26-4) at the T-Mobile Arena.
Eight-weight best on the planet Pacquiao was initially set to confront American Errol
Spence Jnr, however the IBF and WBC champ experienced a torn retina during his
instructional course last week.
However, Sean Gibbons of the MP Promotions believes that this will not be the last fight
of the living legend.
“The good thing is, it’s not over. You don’t look past the fight, but it’s definitely not
over,” he said in Power&Play by Noli Eala.
“This fight ends, this fight is over, he wins, he’s looking to get right back in that ring,
October, November, before he has to move on to the next phase of his career.”
