Floyd Mayweather is considered as one of the greatest boxer of all time, but he is also one of the greatest trashtalker of all-time.
But there were times that luck was not on his side. There were times that Mayweather got bullied inside the ring.
And in today’s video we will find out who were those boxers who gave Mayweather a very hard time.
The unbeaten record of Mayweather were in danger for several times and these are the fighters who made it tough for him.

  1. Shane Mosley
    Floyd “Money” Mayweather Jr. fought “Sugar” Shane Mosley on May 1st, 2010. It was a super fight but it was not a title match. They fought without a belt at stake.
    This is also known as “the day I almost knocked out Mayweather.”
    Mosley put a great fight, he even dominated Mayweather but he lost via unanimous decision.

Mosley started the fight strong, but it lasted only until the second round. That was his best chance to beat Mayweather after hurting him with several strong punches that put his opponent on his knee.
Mayweather was ondefense mode barely trying to finish the round standing.
He did finished the round and was able to bounce back on the succeeding rounds to win the match.
It was a tough moment for Mayweather but he showed that he is the real deal and was able to take the punches.

  1. Marcos Maidana
    Mayweather’s fight against Maidana was very entertaining that they got to fight twice, however, Mayweather prevailed on those two meetings.
    Maidana displayed amazing willpower and he went back and forth with Mayweather. He unleashed big punches on the American that made the fans roar. But Mayweather’s chin and strength is not a joke withstanding the attacks and still winning the fight.

Two-weight world Mexican champ Luis Nery (35 wins – 1 loss – 0) mocked the undefeated “Japanese monster” Naoya Inoue (26 wins – 0 loss) as ordinary and overrated hyping their fight at Tokyo Dome in Japan May 6, 2024.

31-year old Inoue will defend his undisputed super bantamweight title against Nery.

29-year-old challenger Nery has the WBC and Ring magazine bantamweight titles plus the WBC super bantamweight title from 2020 to May 2021.

On the other hand, the undisputed Inoue who holds WBA and IBF titles plus WBC and WBO belts has never lost except a decision with Filipino ‘flash’ Nonito Donaire last 2011.

Former UFC fighter Francis Ngannou accused AJ camp of ‘trickery’ when he suffered devastating knockdowns in the first and second round last March 8, 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The MMA fighter and former UFC heavyweight champion said that AJ camp sabotaged him by letting him go early in the arena.

“We both fought at 3am. What I think, something that’s happened is that they get me to the arena very early. Like my pickup time was 10.30pm to go to the arena. And then when we get to the arena, they tell us that we are scheduled around 1.45am. right?” Ngannou blurted.

He believed that he came exhausted, which resulted in his humiliating defeat.

Texas Department urges Mike Tyson to pass EEG, EKG tests

The 57-year old legend Mike Tyson (50 wins – 6 loss) vs 27-year old YouTuber Jake Paul (9 wins – 1 loss) must undergo major tests before the fight to materialize at AT&T Stadium in Texas Arlington on July 20, 2024.

The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations (TDLR) urged Tyson to undergo or pass a brain test Electroencephalography (EEG) and Electrocardiogram (EKG) for the heart.

“A person aged 36 or older applying for a contestant’s license must submit a report of favourable physical testing conducted within the previous 12 months, including but not limited to an EEG and an EKG.” TDLR elaborated.

Meanwhile, the American youtuber explained that he picked Tyson because he wants to change the history of boxing. He already fought Floyd Mayweather Jr but he lost.
