Luka Doncic is better than Dirk Nowitzki, is he already?

The 23-year old Slovenian dropped 50 points against the Houston Rockets in a win and with that, he matched Nowitzki career 50 games with two.

Nowitzki played for 21 seasons while Doncic is only in his fifth NBA season. His performance also put him ahead of the Dallas legend in the numbers of 40-point games after tallying his 21st.

Along with it, Doncic also had eight rebounds and 10 assists. This makes him more in the case of winning the MVP this early in the season.

Victor Wembanyama hits Tim Duncan, O’ Neal records

Victor Wembanyama broke a record of 100 blocks as a rookie last January 8, 2024 in Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, Cleveland, Ohio vs Cavaliers.

Spurs center and power forward Wemby has played 31 games so far and his 4th block on the said game made him the 6th player in NBA history to reach that mark in their first 35 games.

The NBA records show that Wemby (2023-24) hit Tim Duncan at the 6th place as a rookie with the most games played. Shaq had 28 and Alonzo Mourning 18 in 1992-93.

The other NBA players who also reached that 100 blocks record as rookie are Shawn Bradley (1993-94), Alonzo Mourning (1992-93), Shaquille O’Neal (1992-93) Manute Bol (1985-86), Terry Tyler (1978-79).

The NBA legends Lebron James and Anthony Davis approved the veteran Spencer Dinwiddie when his family pressured him to return home to Los Angeles.

Spencer, born in Los Angeles, said that his family wanted him to be part of the Lakers.
