It is such a blessing to live in the current era of basketball.
As the NBA celebrates its 75 th Anniversary Season, the association unveiled more
players that are included in the 75 Greatest of All-Time, led by none other than LeBron
James.
James, who is on his 19 th year in the NBA, along with Stephen Curry led the 11 active
players to be included in the list.
Here are the complete list of the up and coming legends of the NBA.
LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers who is a four-time MVP, 17-time All-Star, 1-
time scoring champion, 4-time champion
Stephen Curry, the one who changes the game and the greatest shooter to ever touch a
basketball. A two-time MVP, 7-time All-Star, 2-time scoring champion, 3-time champion
Kevin Durant, arguably the best scorer, a 1-time MVP, 11-time All-Star, 4-time scoring
champion, 2-time champion.
Giannis Antetokounmpo, a freak athlete who won back-to-back MVP, 1-time Defensive
Player of the Year, 5-time All-Star, and a reigning NBA champion.
James Harden, another crazy scorer who won an MVP, appeared 9-time in All-Star and
a three-time scoring champion
Kawhi Leonard, the fun guy who is a five-time All-Star, 2-time Defensive Player of the
Year, Finals MVP, and two-time champion
Chris Paul, the point god. An 11-time All-Star and fourth in the all-time assists leader
Anthony Davis, a versatile big men who is an eight-time All-Star and an NBA champion
Carmelo Anthony, a postup powerhouse, a pure scorer with 10-time All-Star and 1-time
scoring champion in his resume.
Russell Westbrook, the triple-double machine with one MVP, 9 All-Star appearances
and a two-time scoring champion
Damian Lillard, one of the proven clutch players in the era and a six-time All-Star.

Many though, complained about the non-inclusion of guys like Kyrie Irving, Klay
Thompson at Dwight Howard who have a pretty strong resume too and an immense
impact to the league.

Former UFC fighter Francis Ngannou accused AJ camp of ‘trickery’ when he suffered devastating knockdowns in the first and second round last March 8, 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The MMA fighter and former UFC heavyweight champion said that AJ camp sabotaged him by letting him go early in the arena.

“We both fought at 3am. What I think, something that’s happened is that they get me to the arena very early. Like my pickup time was 10.30pm to go to the arena. And then when we get to the arena, they tell us that we are scheduled around 1.45am. right?” Ngannou blurted.

He believed that he came exhausted, which resulted in his humiliating defeat.

Texas Department urges Mike Tyson to pass EEG, EKG tests

The 57-year old legend Mike Tyson (50 wins – 6 loss) vs 27-year old YouTuber Jake Paul (9 wins – 1 loss) must undergo major tests before the fight to materialize at AT&T Stadium in Texas Arlington on July 20, 2024.

The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations (TDLR) urged Tyson to undergo or pass a brain test Electroencephalography (EEG) and Electrocardiogram (EKG) for the heart.

“A person aged 36 or older applying for a contestant’s license must submit a report of favourable physical testing conducted within the previous 12 months, including but not limited to an EEG and an EKG.” TDLR elaborated.

Meanwhile, the American youtuber explained that he picked Tyson because he wants to change the history of boxing. He already fought Floyd Mayweather Jr but he lost.

Victor Wembanyama broke a record of 100 blocks as a rookie last January 8, 2024 in Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, Cleveland, Ohio vs Cavaliers.

Spurs center and power forward Wemby has played 31 games so far and his 4th block on the said game made him the 6th player in NBA history to reach that mark in their first 35 games.

The NBA records show that Wemby (2023-24) hit Tim Duncan at the 6th place as a rookie with the most games played. Shaq had 28 and Alonzo Mourning 18 in 1992-93.

The other NBA players who also reached that 100 blocks record as rookie are Shawn Bradley (1993-94), Alonzo Mourning (1992-93), Shaquille O’Neal (1992-93) Manute Bol (1985-86), Terry Tyler (1978-79).
