Former featherweight champs officially hangs gloves

Lee Selby called it a quit at the age of 35.
The former featherweight world champion released a statement for his retirement in
boxing after he lost from his last fight in March.
Selby fought for 14 years and held the IBF featherweight belt for three years (2015-18)
\”After 27 years as an amateur and professional boxer, I know the time is right for me to
hang up the gloves,\” he said in the statement.
\”I am forever grateful to my mum and dad who took me and my brothers to Rhoose
Amateur Boxing Club and Craig Smyth who always supported me. I had around 90
amateur contests, but it was my brother Andrew who was the star attraction for the
Selby family in the amateurs.
My biggest thank you goes to all my fans, your support over the years has been
incredible. I exit the ring with no regrets, happy, healthy and with my family financially
secure. Boxing has been my life and I am sure my involvement in the sport will continue
in the years to come as I look to set new goals.\”

Dwight Howard plans to join WWE

MMA to boxing is not the only sport you can cross, so is basketball to pro wrestling.

NBA veteran ang NBA champion Dwight Howard wants to be in the WWE if he’s not on an NBA team this coming season.

He is currently a free agent and no signs yet of teams interested to sign him in.

Howard, an 8x NBA All-Star, 3x NBA Defensive Player of the Year and 5x All-NBA First Team, is currently 36 and has seen his career depleted throughout the years.

He made it clear though that his first priority is to still play in the league and will consider the WWE if left out in the 2022-23 season.

Howard participated in the WWE tryout and could be a great boost to the show due to his physique and entertaining attitude.
