Detroit Pistons win top lottery pick for the 2021 NBA draft

Published

on

After four decades the Detroit Pistons have finally hold the number one pick in the
upcoming NBA draft.
The drought is over for the Pistons after their dramatic break up with Blake Griffin, the
team has now something to look forward in the next season.
Pistons legend and NBA Hall of Famer Ben Wallace do the honor to represent the team
in the lottery picking and he brought home with him the next top pick in the NBA.
Following the Pistons are the Houston Rockets, Cleveland Cavaliers for the third pick,
Toronto Raptors in the fourth and the Orlando Magic for the fifth pick.
Wallace instantly became a meme material after ending the drought in the Motor City.
Big Ben surely delivered big time for the franchise in which he won a title back in 2004.
Cade Cunningham is the predicted top rookie this 2021 but the Pistons remain
uncertain on who will they pick come draft night.
But the good thing is they will have the first overall pick and they can select the best
talent available that could help the team in their rebuilding process and hopefully be
back in the post season to compete.

He made it clear though that his first priority is to still play in the league and will consider the WWE if left out in the 2022-23 season.
