Former WBC Heavyweight Champion Deontay Wilder revealed his excitement and sang
praises to Manny Pacquiao and Errol Spence Jr., for their upcoming clash on August
21 st .
The ‘Bronze Boomer’, who was set to fight before the Pacquiao-Spence, is now on the
waiting stage as his trilogy with rival and current WBC king Tyson Fury was moved to
October.
Since his fight is on a delay, YouTube vlogger Ellie Seckbach asked the thought of
Wilder on the welterweight showdown.
“That’s a hell of a fight,” he said.
Wilder continued by commending the eight-division world champion for his passion and
love for the sport.
“For what Pacquiao is still doing, my hat goes off to him. He’s continuing to do what he
loves. That’s what it’s all about in this world. Age is nothing but a number at the end of
the day.”
“Pacquiao is definitely a legend in the game, and when he retires, he will be even more
so. What I like about him is he gives these young fighters the opportunity to prove
themselves.”
He also gave the same amount of love for Spence and he didn’t picked a winner in the
upcoming bout.
“With Spence, his name speaks for itself. He is “The Truth.” – He’s one of the best as he
overcame adversity, and he’s still whooping ass till this day!
“It’s going to be a great fight. I am looking forward to it.”
