John Riel Casimero take his shot to Noaya Inoue after easily defeating Duke Micah in three rounds to retain his WBO Bantamweight belt at the Mohegan Sun Arena.

“I’m the real monster. Naoya Inoue is scared of me. You’re next. I would have knocked out anyone today,” Casimero said after the fight clearly wanting the Inoue fight immediately.

“If Inoue doesn’t fight me, then I’ll fight Guillermo Rigonddeaux, Luis Nery, or any top fighter.”

The journeyman made an owning presence in the US and he is quickly heard by many.

In the second round, he already put the Ghana opponent on the canvass.

He did not waste any time as he finished him off on the third with a barrage of punches while Micah was holding on the rope that forces the referee to interfere and stop the fight.

“I worked hard and got the win tonight. In the first round I saw the body shot hurt him and thought I could get him out right away, but he’s a good boxer who was undefeated for a reason,” the 31-year old Filipino said.

Recently, the pride of MP Promotions was vocal on his frustration about not getting the Inoue fight and had planned to go home in the Philippines instead of staying in the US.

However, Sean Gibbons, MP President, managed to convince the Filipino boxer to stay a little longer as they search for an alternative so that their stay will not be put to waste.

The fight of Casimero and Micah was just a clear demonstration that he is on the level of elite fighters in the division and should be fighting the other top boxers.
