Published

on

Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua could put 2021 as the year British boxers dominated the boxing world.
Why?
Simply because three fights are about to be made and are majority consists of British boxers.
Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua is the most notable among the British fights that will happen this year.
It is indeed the biggest of 2021 because it will be for the undisputed heavyweight championship. According to reports, Fury and Joshua\’s mega-fight are to be finalized within the next two weeks. It is a two-fight deal that could be the second-highest-paid fight in history, only short of the Manny Pacquiao-Floyd Mayweather fight of the century.
Fury is still undefeated while Joshua has one defeat. The fight will determine who is the best heavyweight right now.
Following them will be the Canelo Alvarez versus Billy Joe Saunders super-middleweight unification bout. Recent updates stated that both camps have already agreed to make the fight happen. The fight could happen weeks after Canelo’s upcoming fight against mandatory challenger Avni Yildirim.
Imagine Canelo, the number one pound-for-pound boxer, fighting the number one heavyweight Tyson Fury. Surely the rankings will either rocket or crash down if any of them lose in their respective fights.
Josh Taylor and American Jose Ramirez is another huge clash to look forward to in 2021.
After just 17 fights, undefeated Taylor is the WBA \’Super\’ and IBF champion, while Ramirez – who has won all 26 bouts – holds the WBC and WBO belts.

By Ponciano Melo – Floyd Mayweather once again displayed his amazing showmanship in the sports of boxing. An easy money for an easy fight.

Millions of dollars came flowing right into his account as he made an eight-round exhibition boxing against YouTube personality Logan Paul. The fight went to distance and there was no winner.

Fans and star personalities in attendance were hoping for a more action fight but they received a little power punches and thrill.

Although, many commended the toughness of Paul against the fading power of the 44-year old Mayweather.

Now, the questions after the fight was obvious: will Floyd come back and fight professional once again?

The answer was clear from the legendary boxer.

\”I\’m never coming back to boxing. I\’m absolutely not,\” he said during the post press conference.

He only had praise for his opponent and nothing more.

\”I had fun. You\’ve got to realize I\’m not 21 anymore. He was strong, tough and better than I thought he was. I was surprised by him tonight. Good work. Good little guy,\” he added.

He also insisted that he already made his mark in boxing and he has enough wealth.

\”When the money comes, we\’ll see who is the real winner.”

\”At the end of the day, I\’m going into the Hall of Fame for boxing. I have nothing to prove.\”

Manny Pacquiao is back in training!

By Ponciano Melo – With over two months of staying until his profoundly expected battle against Errol Spence Jr, Manny Pacquaio began preparing.

Generally viewed as perhaps the best fighter ever, the Filipino southpaw has had a renowned lifetime, winning 12 world titles and being the solitary eight-division best on the planet in the game.

He has a severe excellent expert record of 62 successes out of 71 battles with just seven losses up until this point.

Pacquaio\’s last battle was against Keith Thurman in Nevada just about two years prior. In this manner, he won the session through split choice, turning into the most established welterweight champion at 40 years old years and 216 days.

The 42-year-old will next take on Errol Spence Jr at the same scene on August 21, and he\’s as of now began his preparation as the new film demonstrates.

The battle in August is something boxing fans everywhere in the world will be excited about watching. Pacquaio will undoubtedly confront perhaps the most challenging episode of his vocation. On the other hand, Spence, the current IBF and WBC welterweight champion has yet to lose any of his 27 battles and will be excited about keeping up that record.

The 31-year-old\’s last battle was against Danny Garcia, which he won, and that is presumably why he is viewed as the top pick against Pacquaio in August. Nonetheless, the 42-year-old will be a long way from willing to tap out.

Not long back, Floyd Mayweather, who beat Pacquaio in 2015, said, via BoxingNews24: \”He [Pacquiao] is very dangerous still.\”

Spence, who is currently at the peak of his powers, might be the favorite to win the fight in August, but someone of Pacquaio\’s quality should not be written off. With a sea of experience under his belt, the Filipino is more than capable of giving his opponent a run for his money.

Nevertheless, it is a highly-anticipated fight, one which fans can hardly wait for.

It will be interesting to see who comes out on top in Nevada.
