Booker, Durant combine for 86 points in Suns' Game 3 win

Phoenix needed a win and Devin Booker and Kevin Durant did the heavy lifting to put the Suns back in the Western Conference semifinals.

Booker exploded for 47 points, tying his playoff career-high, while Durant dropped 39 points in their 121-114 Game 3 win against the Denver Nuggets.

The two superstars took over the offense and it was a two-man show as they were the only players in the team that scored in double digits. Devin was definitely the bucket as he shot a sensational 20-out-of-25 along with nine assists, six rebounds, and three steals.

On the other hand, Nikola Jokic made history by becoming the first player to record 30+ points, 15+ rebounds, and 15+ assists in a playoff game after finishing with 30 points, 17 rebounds, and 17 assists all in a loss.

Jamal Murray finished with 32 points but it wasn’t enough to top Booker and Durant’s hot hands.

Game 4 remains in Phoenix.

Giannis Antetokounmpo fails in Olympics 2024

Despite the 34 points per single game, Giannis Antetokounmpo of team Greece failed against Stephen Curry (team U.S.A.) who got 36 points in men’s basketball Olympics 2024 in Paris.

“I’ve waited. I have wanted to be on this stage for a long time but I wasn’t fortunate enough,” Giannis admitted.

Giannis, a Milwaukee Bucks power forward and center, recalled that Greek basketball took 16 years to be in the Olympics. “In 16 years, I will be 45 years old. When I see my kids out there, they are able to see me compete on this stage and I can tell them the stories of how it was.” 29- year-old NBA superstar added.

As the Olympics 2024 ended. Antetokounmpo and Curry  topped as the player who has the most points in a single game.

Meanwhile, LeBron James and Nikola Jokic got the fourth and fifth-ever Olympic triple-doubles. Kevin Durant, now the first four-time Olympic gold medallist in men’s Olympic basketball history.

Moreover Victor Wembanyama (10 blocks) beat Anthony Davis (9 blocks) as he got the most blocks per game.
