Ja Morant gets suspended again after showing gun on Instagram live

Commissioner Adam Silver decided to let the only drama in the Association be on the NBA Finals for now as he put the decision and findings on Ja Morant’s gun showing incident on hold until the league crowns a new world champion.

“We’ve uncovered a fair amount of additional information. We probably could have brought it to a head now, but we’ve made the decision that it would be unfair to these players and these teams to announce that decision in the middle of this [NBA Finals] series,” Silver said.

“I don’t think we yet know what it will take to change his behavior.”

This is not the first time it happened, as Morant got suspended in the latter stage of the regular season due to the same reason, showing a gun on his Instagram live.

“Waving them around, displaying them in a certain context, is not consistent with gun safety and is not the proper message that an NBA player, particularly one at Ja’s level, should be sending to the tens of millions of followers he has — and particularly when it’s an incident once again, where it’s been streamed live on social media. So yes, I think given the similarity of this incident to the first one, I was alarmed, I was disheartened.”

Francis Ngannou cries ‘deception’ vs Anthony Joshua camp

Former UFC fighter Francis Ngannou accused AJ camp of ‘trickery’ when he suffered devastating knockdowns in the first and second round last March 8, 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The MMA fighter and former UFC heavyweight champion said that AJ camp sabotaged him by letting him go early in the arena.

“We both fought at 3am. What I think, something that’s happened is that they get me to the arena very early. Like my pickup time was 10.30pm to go to the arena. And then when we get to the arena, they tell us that we are scheduled around 1.45am. right?” Ngannou blurted.

He believed that he came exhausted, which resulted in his humiliating defeat.
