Anthony Joshua insists undisputed match with Tyson Fury needs to happen

Published

on

Anthony Joshua is convinced that he should go head-to-head with Tyson Fury to settle the heated discussion on who is the number one heavyweight boxer in the present.

Joshua, the unified heavyweight champ, reclaimed his three belts after dominating Andy Ruiz Jr., in Saudi Arabia while Fury snatched and stopped the reign of Deontay Wilder in a monster seventh round knock out.

To determine the top boxer, one must have all four major belts under the undisputed bout.

\”If you really want to say you\’re number one, come fight me. Let\’s get it on. I\’ve got the rest of the belts so it only makes sense,\” Joshua said on an interview with SkySports.

The 30-year old UK native has a record of 23 wins with 21 KOs and one defeat. On the contrary, Fury is still unbeaten with his 30 victories on 21 KOs and one draw.

Fury has been declining the undisputed match as he accepted a trilogy with Wilder.
