By Ponciano Melo – The long-awaited news has finally come. Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury have signed a two-fight deal for their heavyweight mega-fight that will take place this year.

It was a long-rumored fight, and both parties have agreed to sign the papers to make it happen.

\”We\’d like to get a site deal confirmed in the next month,\” Joshua promoter Eddie Hearn said in an article released by ESPN.

\”The hard part is always getting everybody to put pen to paper. But this was a major effort from all parties to get this over the line. You had rival promoters, rival networks, and rival fighters.\”

Joshua and Fury will receive 50-50 in the first fight, while it will be 60-40 in the rematch in favor of the winner.

Overcoming the first obstacle in making what is dubbed to be the greatest British boxing fight of all time, they now have to find the venue.

The good thing is, it won\’t be hard for them. Since boxers already signed the deal, venues are offering themselves to be used for the historic fight. Hearn added that he already offered eight-nine venues to them.

The hype is now shaking the boxing world as we will get to see an undisputed heavyweight champion after two decades.
