LOS ANGELES — Dwight Howard is seeing the silver lining in all of this

The veteran center is hell-bent on proving doubters wrong in a return trip to a city where he could have reached the pinnacle of it all.

Having a fresh outlook on things and a goal to redeem his former Glory the former Dunk contest champion and many-time Defensive Player of the Year says he will embrace this chance donning the purple and gold.

 “I’m big on new beginnings, and this is the time to start up a new time. I\’m just looking forward to having a fresh start with the fans and show them my only dedication is to put another banner up here in Los Angeles,” he said.

 And he hopes the Lakers fans, and the others intently eyeing his upcoming role with the franchise, will give him another shot.

 Howard, the apparent proxy big man to the Lakers campaign as starting Center DeMarcus Cousins still sits out due to an injury, will make the most out of this opportunity. He will now be teaming up with Anthony Davis and LeBron James in a bid to cop his first NBA title since coming close to capturing a ring with the Orlando Magic.

 “This is a very big blessing to re-sign with the Lakers,” he said

Former UFC fighter Francis Ngannou accused AJ camp of ‘trickery’ when he suffered devastating knockdowns in the first and second round last March 8, 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The MMA fighter and former UFC heavyweight champion said that AJ camp sabotaged him by letting him go early in the arena.

Texas Department urges Mike Tyson to pass EEG, EKG tests

The 57-year old legend Mike Tyson (50 wins – 6 loss) vs 27-year old YouTuber Jake Paul (9 wins – 1 loss) must undergo major tests before the fight to materialize at AT&T Stadium in Texas Arlington on July 20, 2024.

The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations (TDLR) urged Tyson to undergo or pass a brain test Electroencephalography (EEG) and Electrocardiogram (EKG) for the heart.

“A person aged 36 or older applying for a contestant’s license must submit a report of favourable physical testing conducted within the previous 12 months, including but not limited to an EEG and an EKG.” TDLR elaborated.

Meanwhile, the American youtuber explained that he picked Tyson because he wants to change the history of boxing. He already fought Floyd Mayweather Jr but he lost.
