LAS VEGAS, Nevada — There’s no cause for concern this time as Manny Pacquiao is feeling good after his mastery of Keith Thurman Jr., yesterday here.

Going back to his last fight which was against another trash-talking American in Adrien Broner, there were reports from his camp that the Pacman might have suffered a serious injury to his eye, this time though, there’s nothing alarming affecting boxing’s only eight-division world champion.

And if you ask Manny’s trusted right-hand man and promotions president Sean Gibbons, Pacquiao seems ready for another round of boxing.

\”This morning, the guy was smiling, joking,” said Gibbons in an interview with members of the media a day after the fighting Senator scored a 12-round split decision win over Thurman.

Pacquiao has now unified the world welterweight belts and is proclaimed the super welterweight champ after handing Thurman his first defeat in a professional match.

“He was in the bathroom shadowboxing. I\’m not concerned at all,\” Gibbons added addressing scribes at the Skyloft Suite of Manny inside the MGM Grand.

Gibbons further explained that Pacquiao suffered a scratch on his right eye but was quick to clarify that it was a minor injury and is not as bad as the injury he incured back in January against Broner.
Pacquiao actually chartered a direct flight onboard a private jet bound for Manila in a bid to catch President Rodrigo Duterte’s State of the Nation Address.

The aircraft was on standby during the fight but as per doctor’s orders received only recently, Pacquiao was not cleared to travel after his exciting triumph against Thurman.

This means that Pacquiao shall miss President Duterte’s 4th SONA, but is expected to resume Senate duties immediately when he lands in Manila.

Francis Ngannou cries ‘deception’ vs Anthony Joshua camp

Former UFC fighter Francis Ngannou accused AJ camp of ‘trickery’ when he suffered devastating knockdowns in the first and second round last March 8, 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The MMA fighter and former UFC heavyweight champion said that AJ camp sabotaged him by letting him go early in the arena.

“We both fought at 3am. What I think, something that’s happened is that they get me to the arena very early. Like my pickup time was 10.30pm to go to the arena. And then when we get to the arena, they tell us that we are scheduled around 1.45am. right?” Ngannou blurted.

He believed that he came exhausted, which resulted in his humiliating defeat.
