LOS ANGELES – Matinding pag-eensayo ang ipinamamalas ni Sen. Manny Pacquiao habang nalalapit ang kanyang big fight.

Ito ang iniulat ng kanyang tiyahin na si Lilia â€œPrettyâ€ Lao.

Araw-araw aniya sa Los Angeles ay kitang kita nya ang subsob na pag-ensayo ng pambansang kamao.

Ika nga ni Anne Samejon na pamangkin ni Manny, pawis at dugo ang ensayong ginawa ng kanyang tiyuhin sa General Santos kaya nakamit nito ang welterweight world title matapos talunin nong nakaraang taon si Lucas Matthysse.

Ito ay ginanap sa Axiata Arena na matatagpuan Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Nagwagi ang noo’y 39-anyos na boksingero laban sa Argentinian fighter sa pamamagitan ng technical knockout win sa ikapitong round. Isang uppercut ang ibinigay ni Pacquiao para mapabagsak sa ikatlong pagkakataon hanggang sa mapaluhod si Matthysse sa ikatlong round makaraang matapos tamaan ng jab uppercut combinations.

Sa ikalimang round ginamitan ito ng pambansang kamao ng right hook combo.

Ito na ang ika-60 panalo ni Pacquiao sa loob ng kaniyang 23 taong karera.

Ito rin ang unang knockout ni Pacquiao mula 2009, nang patumbahin ang Puerto Rican champion na si Miguel Cotto.

Sa darating na laban ng fighting senator sa ika-21 ng Hulyo 2019 gaganapin ang showdown nila ni Thurman sa MGM Grand and Garden Arena sa Las Vegas, Nevada.

Kabilang sa tinututukan ng Team Pacquio ang bawat detalye ng pag-eensayo nito para masigurado na tama ang ginagawang istratehiya.

Para naman sa Pinoy ring icon, hindi raw niya iniisip kung anong mangyayari sa kanya dahil ang mas mahalaga ay mapanali ang hawak na korona.

Muli rin namang nagpasalamat ang WBA champion sa walang sawang pagsuporta ng kanyang mga kababayang Pilipino.

Canelo Alvarez ex-promoter Eddie Hearns predicts that Terrence Crawford will retire after his victory vs Israil Madrimov last August 3, 2024 in Los Angeles.

Crawford is now the 4-division champ after winning by unanimous decision.

However, Hearns said that three fighters are a must fight against Crawford before hanging his gloves – Vergil Ortiz, Jaron Ennis, and Canelo.

“I don’t think Crawford wants a Boots fight. I don’t think Crawford will fight again unless he fights Canelo Alvarez because he’s got money, he’s getting on [in age],” Hearns revealed.

He added that Crawford ducks Ortiz. He also mocked him for getting lucky with the scoring for his fight against Madrimov.

Hearns underscored that 36 year old Crawford is craving for mega-money, mega-fights, and real legacy fights that is why he does not like to fight the undefeated Ennis. He furthered that 27 year old Ennis is like the young Crawford version that is why he is skipping him.

Meanwhile, Crawford still hates Ennis because he is overrated.

Usyk wishes Crawford to beat Canelo

Super-welterweight Terrence Crawford is set to fight Israil Madrimov – WBA and WBO interim World Super-Welterweight champ on August 3, 2024 in BMO Stadium – a Soccer-specific stadium in Los Angeles, California.

Crawford will move up to 154 pounds to clash Madrimov for his WBA junior middleweight title. This is halfway to Canelo Alvarez – the super middleweight undisputed champ of the world.

However, undisputed heavyweight Oleksandr Usyk wants to see Crawford beating Canelo. It can be recalled that Usyk smashed Tyson Fury just recently.
