Splash bros sizzle in Warriors' home win over Suns

Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry combined for 61 points on 12 three pointers to lead the Golden State Warriors’ show against the visiting Phoenix Suns, 123-112.

The defending champ already lost their regular season series with the Suns, 0-3, prior to the game.

The splash brothers started the game strong for the dubs for a 41-21 first quarter scoring before keeping the Suns at bay until the final buzzer.

Thompson finished with 38 points and five rebounds while Curry had 23 points, seven rebounds, and five assists.

On the other hand, Devin Booker led the Suns with 32 points followed by Deandre Ayton’s 27.

Golden State has a current wild streak in both home and away games as they are 8-0 as host, and 0-8 as visitors.

Another missed opportunity in the game was Kevin Durant’s first game back in Golden State since leaving in 2019.

Durant hasn’t faced the Warriors at home over the last few years due to either injuries or load management
