NBA Finals preview: Warriors vs. Celtics

The thirty teams are now down to two.

Golden State Warriors and the Boston Celtics will faceoff in the 2022 NBA Finals.

The dub nation hopes to reclaim their throne and become the most successful team in the past years while the Celtic pride eyes for its 18th NBA title and become the winningest franchise in NBA history.

What are the things to look forward in this series?

First are the matchups, the stars of each team are built not bought.

Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green were all drafted by the Warriors likewise are Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and Marcus Smart of the Celtics.

Next is the defense. Boston displayed a superb defense in the East finals against one of the best defensive teams, the Miami Heat. This is something the opponent has been scouting. Golden State though also played good defense but not as good as the former.

Questions that are still in the sky are who will stop Tatum and Brown? Wiggins is Golden State’s best defender but he needs help. Gary Payton’s return might be the key.

Another concern is the paint, Boston may have the advantage inside with Al Horford and Robert Williams on it. Kevon Looney certainly can’t do it alone for the opposition.

For Boston, they have to limit Curry and Thompson, not to mention Jordan Poole. Defense is really the key for them to win the championship as they have to shutdown the firepowers of the Warriors.

Now, who you got between these two?
