Vítor Belfort is set to fight this September 2021. However, there is something unusual. Belfort is a christian just like Manny Pacquiao.

During their face off with Dela Hoya, the crown never heard any offensive words. But who is Belfort?

From his wikipedia biography it says that, Belfort was born on 1 April 1977, in Rio de Janeiro to a French-Brazilian father and a Greek-Brazilian mother. He is married to Joana Prado, with whom he has three children.They started dating in 2000, broke up but reunited during a reality show in 2002. That same year Belfort appeared with Joana when she was photographed for the Brazilian edition of Playboy.

On 9 January 2004, Vítor\’s sister, Priscila Belfort disappeared and the relatives received no information about her. In August 2007, a woman (identified as Elaine Paiva) confessed that she participated in her kidnapping and killing^[74] and that she was kidnapped to pay off a four thousand dollar debt Paiva had with drug dealers. Paiva was arrested along with three others alleged to be involved in the kidnapping. The group allegedly buried her body in the woods in Rio de Janeiro where police conducted searches but her remains have never been found. Her family however does not accept this version and believes that Priscila is still alive somewhere. Vítor still maintains a missing page on the Brazilian version of his website.

Belfort speaks Portuguese, English, and Spanish.

He is a devout Christian. Belfort believes the most important key to his success and longevity in the sport is that he is happy with what he does. \”I just thank God every day. I’m happy. Belfort appears in the video for the song \”I\’m Down\” by The Almost.

On April 26, 2018, Belfort became a naturalized American citizen.

Crawford to retire soon – Eddie Hearns

Canelo Alvarez ex-promoter Eddie Hearns predicts that Terrence Crawford will retire after his victory vs Israil Madrimov last August 3, 2024 in Los Angeles.

Crawford is now the 4-division champ after winning by unanimous decision.

However, Hearns said that three fighters are a must fight against Crawford before hanging his gloves – Vergil Ortiz, Jaron Ennis, and Canelo.

“I don’t think Crawford wants a Boots fight. I don’t think Crawford will fight again unless he fights Canelo Alvarez because he’s got money, he’s getting on [in age],” Hearns revealed.

He added that Crawford ducks Ortiz. He also mocked him for getting lucky with the scoring for his fight against Madrimov.

Hearns underscored that 36 year old Crawford is craving for mega-money, mega-fights, and real legacy fights that is why he does not like to fight the undefeated Ennis. He furthered that 27 year old Ennis is like the young Crawford version that is why he is skipping him.

Meanwhile, Crawford still hates Ennis because he is overrated.

Ennis’ promoter Eddie Hearns said that 27-year old Ennis is the future of boxing as he beats everyone. He added that Boots is a special fighter that needs to be tested against the best in the world.

However, boxing experts suggested Ennis to move up to 154 and target Terence Crawford, Sebastian Fundora, Errol Spence, Tim Tszyu, Vergil Ortiz Jr, Israil Madrimov, Serhii Bohachuk, and Erickson Lubin.

Super-welterweight Terrence Crawford is set to fight Israil Madrimov – WBA and WBO interim World Super-Welterweight champ on August 3, 2024 in BMO Stadium – a Soccer-specific stadium in Los Angeles, California.

Crawford will move up to 154 pounds to clash Madrimov for his WBA junior middleweight title. This is halfway to Canelo Alvarez – the super middleweight undisputed champ of the world.

However, undisputed heavyweight Oleksandr Usyk wants to see Crawford beating Canelo. It can be recalled that Usyk smashed Tyson Fury just recently.
